  2. Who am I and why do I travel? About Madame Verna Verspieren This is my fourth year teaching French at Vista and my second time taking Vista students to France. This will be my 20th trip (approximately) to France. My first trip to Europe was as a high school student in 1982 with Orange County Youth Symphony, and I’ve been passionate about traveling ever since. I am delighted to give your students this opportunity. Insert Photo of yourself Chateau de Chenonceau, France April 2011
