Academy Grading • The academy will follow the same grading system as the regular population. However, once students falls below a 2.25 GPA they will be reviewed for possible transitioning back into the regular population.
Business & Finance Academy The academy is a school within a school. Students who are identified as not benefitting from the Academy can be transitioned back into the regular population without bureaucracy.
Academy Expectations Parents • Check progress reports • Responsible for student’s punctuality and attendance • Support classroom & school discipline policies • Provide school supplies • Ensure student is properly dressed daily • Provide guidance to ensure student’s success • Celebrate student’s successes • Attend parent meetings

MISSION STATEMENT “The Academy of Business and Finance of Williamson High School will produce graduates who are prepared to enter any post secondary educational institution while also preparing them to move directly into the workforce. We as the faculty and staff will accomplish this by ensuring that all students are challenged in an effort to help them maximize their potential.
