  2. Interactive PowerPoint Presentations • Emphasize text so children can read along.

  3. Interactive PowerPoint Presentations • Use Audio to incorporate a voice as a narrator. • First you will need a microphone. • Click on Sound Recorder. • Record your own voice. • Save to a specific folder.

  4. Interactive PowerPoint Presentations • Insert Audio into presentation. • Go to Insert > Movies and Sounds > Sounds From File • Locate your wav file and click OK

  5. Interactive PowerPoint Presentations • Add motion paths to move pictures about during the • presentation. • Right click the picture of your choice. • Go to Custom Animation. • Scroll Down to Motion Path, and choose the direction you • want your object to move.

Interactive PowerPoint Presentations • Create stories with Alternate Endings • Students write their own story with 3 alternate endings. • On the second to last slide Add three auto shapes, in which ever form you choose. • Label Ending 1, Ending 2, Ending 3. You do this by going to Insert>Picture>Auto shapes • Then you hyperlink each Auto shape to each alternate ending. Be sure to include a hyperlink back to the previous page. • To set up a hyperlink click on right click on auto shape, click on Action settings>Go to hyperlink to>Choose the slide number you wish to hyperlink it to. • To set up a hyperlink back to the previous page, follow the same steps. Make sure you add an action button to the alternate ending slide. back

Interactive PowerPoint Presentations • Create interactive games. • Insert Auto Shapes as answer choices. • Between every game slide, insert a slide with praise: Great Job! • Hyperlink the correct answer to the next slide. • At the end of the presentation, create a slide that says: Try Again. • Hyperlink the wrong answers to the very last slide.
