Join us for the Brownsville Town Hall Meeting on October 23rd at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. The primary goal is to collect public feedback on various community topics. One key discussion point will be the relocation of the Brownsville Rural Fire District for better coverage and preparedness for natural disasters. Construction of the new Fire Hall is set to complete by mid-December 2008, with the move planned after the holidays. We invite everyone to share their thoughts and become involved in shaping our town's future!

Welcome to the Brownsville Town Hall Meeting City Hall Usage October 23rd, 2008 7:00 p.m.
Purpose • To gather thoughts, ideas and information from the public and from various organizations around town.
Why is the Brownsville Rural Fire District moving? • Coverage on both sides of the Calapooia. • Space considerations for equipment. • Better preparedness in the event of a natural disaster.
When? ♦ Construction on the new Fire Hall is scheduled for completion in the middle of December. ♦ The move from Main Street to Blakely will physically happen after the Holidays; the building will be available for City uses around March of 2009.
