Stuttering is a speech disorder in which sounds, syllables, or words are repeated or last longer than normal • Express emotions • Invisible disabilities - disabilities that people might not notice right away.
Learning disabilities Interferes with a child’s ability to learn, listen, think, speak, read, write, spell, or do math. Average or above average intelligence but achieve below average due to the disability. Learning disabilities result from disorders in the brain and central nervous system.
Most learning disabilities are detected in children when standardized testing begins between the ages of seven and twelve.
