  3. Who are the Cheesy Riders? The Cheesy Riders are a national year round PepsiCo cycling team comprised of employees, family and friends. Partner with Enable to raise awareness of people with different abilities. Support charities such as the National MS Society, Children’s Medical Center, American Diabetes Association, City House, and the Make a Wish Foundation.   4. Types of Rides Signature Rides Rides such as the Bike MS where we get a huge number of Cheesy Riders (100+) to come out to both ride and raise money for a good cause. We will have 2 of these for 2014. Fun Rides Rides such as the Collin Classic, Red Balloon, Tour Dallas, Wild Ride, and Hotter n Hell that are less focused on fundraising and more of a “register and ride”. Training Rides Informal rides where we meet at the Frito HQ or other designated locations to ride together as a team on designated routes. These are FREE!!!

  17. Event Day Logistics Start on Saturday – 7am sharp! Anyone trying to start after 8am will be SAG’d to the 1st rest stop. NO EXCEPTIONS!   19. Bike MS Jr. - Kids Ride This year, kids 5-14 can participate in Kids Ride, a special Bike MS ride exclusively for junior MS champions on Saturday, May 3th, 2014! Kids Ride participants will enjoy: Exclusive cycling time in separate age groups for younger and older participants An easier, closed and safely vehicle free track at TMS A low $25 registration fee, with no fundraising minimum All Kids Ride participants must an adult 18 years of age or older on the TMS premises. However, parents do NOT have to be registered for the main Bike MS: Sam’s Club ride in order to register their children for the ride.

  22. What is it? Charity bike ride supporting National Multiple Sclerosis Society When is it? May 3rd & 4th Who’s Invited to Join the Team? ANY PepsiCo/Frito-Lay employee, friend, neighbor or family member who likes to ride a bike How good of a rider must I be? Any level – you don’t have to do the full distance or even both days. Ride your own ride!

Ride Options Full ride is two days and a little over 150 miles Final route map will be available in mid/late Feb. 2 half-day rides – you can ride to lunch and the MS Society will bus you and your bike back to the Texas Motor Speedway Day 1 – 48 miles Day 2 – 30 miles Only ride 1 day – you do not have to ride both days Do what you can – ride as far as you can, catch one of the shuttles to lunch or to the end of the ride. You can stop at any time. On Day 1 we will start together as one team
  24. Ride Overview SAG (Support & Gear) vehicles are available if you need a ride for ANY reason. Rest stops are approximately 10 miles apart and are stocked with food and fluids. Bathroom and bike repair services are also available. Frito Lay tent on Saturday and Sunday Massage Therapists. Food and drink on Saturday. Have your family meet you there

Jersey Facts To get the new jersey free: Raise $300 (or more) for Bike MS or other supported Enable Cheesy Rider causes Bike MS Junior participants must raise $100 Jerseys will not be sold until after Bike MS Packet Pick Up Size tends to run a little small You must have $300 in fundraising documented in your account to pick up a jersey.   29. Fundraising Minimum: $300 $.80 of every dollar goes to research and supporting local services The minimum fundraising of $300 is due at the time you pick up your rider packet. If you have not paid your minimum you will be asked to pay up front or you will not be able to ride. NMSS provides a personal webpage to help you fundraise. Also use your social media accounts to fundraise. PepsiCo Gift Match matches gifts of $25 or more If you rely on PepsiCo matching to meet your minimum, start early and ask your donator’s to share a copy of their Matching Request receipt
