  3. Salon Chair The dimensions of a certain salon chair are 28” x 32” x 42” What are these dimensions, and how do we use them to find how much space is taken up by this chair?

  4. Dimensions • Salon Chair measures: • 28" x 32" x 42“ • 28“l x 32“w x 42"h • Change to feet • 28”/12 = 2.3 ft long • 32”/12 = 2.7 ft. wide • This chair takes up a 2’ x 3’ “square” in the Salon

  5. How much square footage? • Display Case • 70” x 30” x 36” • l x w x h • 70/12= 5.8’ long • 30/12 = 2.5’ wide • 6’ x 3’ square feet
