  3. ACTIVITY What do you look for when observing teaching? What do you want to see? Working with others at your table (10 mins): • Create criteria you will use to judge a session you observe

  4. Observe a session • Using the criteria you have developed, watch a teaching session • Make notes which can be used to write up your feedback http://www.excellencegateway.org.uk/page.aspx?o=paulslesson

  5. Feedback to the teacher • Using one of the observation feedback sheets, write up your feedback (5mins)

  6. Feedback triads activity ACTIVITY: Working in groups of 3 (A, B, or C) A – you are the teacher receiving feedback B – you are feeding back to the teacher C – you are observing the feedback 5 mins for B to feed back to A 5 mins for C to feed back to B
