  3. COUPP 2L Chamber Summary • Dark matter search using a bubble chamber filled with CF3I (operates at 20-50°C and 15-100 PSI) • 2009 run in MINOS near hall was limited by cosmic radiation (300 ft overburden) • Summer 2010 detector moved to SNOLAB in Ontario (6800 ft overburden) • Chamber is now operational, shielded, and taking science quality data All Experimenter's Meeting COUPP Special Report

  4. SNOLAB • Recent extension has increased the experimental space at the 6800 ft level COUPP 2L Located in ‘J’ drift 1 mile hike to cage ride All Experimenter's Meeting COUPP Special Report

  5. Safety First • Met the electrical safety authority • Safety reviews with SNOLAB personnel before proceding with new procedures All Experimenter's Meeting COUPP Special Report

  6. Initial Installation • DAQ, pressure vessel, and hydraulic system installed mid July • Took data runs with the full hydraulic and DAQ system for three weeks All Experimenter's Meeting COUPP Special Report
