El caos EL CAOS: EL ORIGEN DEL MUNDO • El poeta griego Hesíodo (siglo VIII a. de C.) describe el origen del Universo mítico partiendo de una masa uniforme denominada «Caos». • De Caos nacieron Gea, Tártaro, Eros, Érebo y la negra Noche. • Gea engendró a Urano, las grandes montañas y el Puente. Así se creó el mundo. • Más adelante, Cronos ocupó el trono del mundo. • Finalmente, Zeus arrebató el poder a Cronos y lo repartió equitativamente entre sus hermanos.

El caos EL GRIEGO ENTRE LAS LENGUAS INDOEUROPEAS • El griego forma parte del grupo de lenguas indoeuropeas. • Los griegos de la época micénica utilizaron un sistema de escritura silábico llamado «lineal B». Era un sistema bastante complicado. • Más adelante, los griegos adoptaron el alfabeto fenicio y lo modificaron introduciendo vocales.
