A: Son las once y media. (treinta) It’s 11:30. (“media” is like saying half past)
For every hour use “son las” EXCEPT WHEN THE HOUR IS 1!
A: Es la una y cuarto. (quince) It’s1:15.
Q: ¿Son las tres? Is it three?
