Effective Addition Techniques for Class III Using Abacus

This resource focuses on teaching addition to Class III students using an abacus. It illustrates how to represent numbers from 100 to 999 by placing values like 3 in hundreds, 2 in tens, and 9 in ones. Students will learn to count and add by collecting various objects like balls and pebbles, fostering hands-on engagement. The method of grouping numbers by their places (ones, tens, and hundreds) is exemplified with calculations such as 325 + 124 = 449. This interactive approach enhances their understanding of addition.
