  3. Wolves are good hunters because they can see, hear, and smell very well.

  4. A wolf can see and smell a deer more than 1 mile away.

  5. The wolf is the largest member of the canine family.

  6. The timber wolf lives in the forests of Northern Asia, Europe, and North America.

  7. Wolves eat almost any animal that they can catch.

  8. The red wolf has almost died out.

  9. Only a few hundred red wolves are still alive mostly in zoos or animal parks. They are a wonderful animal.
