  2. Admin Email Settings The system acts as an SMTP client and needs a mail server for sending the messages. • Admin email settings: Domains can share the same SMTP settings.

  4. PBX Certificate:For Secure Communications The PBX contains a web server with https support, so it needs a certificate like any other web server. The PBX supports TLS and SRTP. User agents must also trust certificate issuer: Many user agents will accept anything Polycom and Counterpath are strict Certificate issuer might have to be put into user agent You must also load the private key with the certificate The certificate discussion goes on in the IETF: Client certificates really would make sense Problem of having several domains on one socket For TLS, certificates must contain DNS names because the TLS is a DNS-based protocol.

Lab―Use the Logfile to Troubleshoot Email Events • Clear the Logfile. • Configure the Logging so that Log email events is the only Specific Event you are logging. • Turn off all SIP Logging. • Click the try link to send yourself a test email. • Check the Logfile again.
