  1. ACSAP Instructions

  2. Go to the website http://www.acsap.army.mil/sso/pages/index.jsp and select Login. Enter your user name and password. The password is temporary and you can change it at that time.

  3. This is the screen you will need to select Reporting and it will then allow you to see your unit data. I have the data placed into the system by the 8th of each month and it will be available for you to view. Select Reporting

  4. Here you can select what you would like to review. You only have access to your unit unless you are HQ or BDE Commander, then you will have access to all units you are responsible for.

  5. In the new Shot Group any unit or group of units within the system (i.e. BN, BDE, Installation) can be compared to the US Army RRP rate and displayed in a Shot Group. This is accomplished by showing the RRP Army rate as a white band just outside the green zone. For comparison purposes the baseline for each risk factor is always the US Army RRP rate. The Army rate may differ for each individual risk factor.

  6. In the updated Summary Report the selected group’s (i.e. BN, BDE, Installation) data will be displayed. So for each slice of the Shot Group the Army rate is the white band, this rate varies but the starting point is the white band! The selected group’s rates & number of incidences are displayed. The selected region’s rates & number of incidences are displayed. The RRP Army rate by factor. (These are the rates used for the white band, displayed by factor.) If the factor’s rate is over two times the RRP Army rate, the text will be displayed with Red Text.

  7. There are tutorials to help you to understand the abbreviations. As you navigate through the program take time to read the definitions of each report to fully understand. Each report will show different ways of looking at the data, from a Shot Group, just reviewing your number of incidents, or even your unit ranking against the Army Rate. You can review your units information by month or Quarter also by year. This information comes from different agencies throughout the post and once it is all compiled the data is then analyzed. The Risk Reduction Program offers prevention and intervention methods to each unit by consulting with the Subject Matter Experts (SME) and finding out their recommendations. It is very important the unit strength is correct throughout the reporting period. That is why it is imperative that if you should notice your numbers are not correct that you alert me so that I can make the correction. If your unit strength change at any month please email me to let me know of the change-increase or decrease. Remember: Intervention is the key in reducing High Risk Behavior……..
