HISTORY • In 1948, 1st store opens at Francisquito and Garvey in Baldwin Park (California) • In 1954, the logo became the arrow it is today • In 1961, In-N-Out prepared their first “animal style” burger and used plain paper as lap mats • In 1971, plain lap mats were replaced with printed lap mats that offer helpful information to customers • In 1974, In-N-Out sent out their first cookout truck, now there are more than 10 fully self-supported cookout trucks • In 1975, Real ice cream shakes were added to the menu

HISTORY (cont’) • In 1979, the first dining room restaurant opened in Ontario • In 1992, the first restaurant opened in Nevada • In 1998, In-N-Out celebrated their 50th anniversary • In 2000, In-N-Out opened store #143 and the first in Lake Havasu City, Arizona • In 2008, the first store in Utah opened • In 2010, Harry and Esther Snyder’s granddaughter leads In-N-Out • In 2011, the first stores in Texas opened • (From http://www.in-n-out.com/history.aspx#2005)
