  4. Communication Tools • Planner • Class Blog • Aeries Online Grades

  5. Planner Communication • Students copy HW from board into planner during roll call. • I stamp planners during homework check/independent reading. • You can communicate with me in the next day’s planner spot

  6. Blog Communication • Link on school website • Daily posting of agenda, handouts, homework, Power Points, etc • Absent work station http://www.acochren.wordpress.com

  7. Aeries Communication • Homework and make-up work entered daily • Participation comments entered too • Thursday HW: Prior to Monday, check Aeries’ individual entries and comments. Email me or fill out a communication slip in class on Monday.

  9. Home Support Develop a Weekly Routine: Check independent reading progress and sign log. Log onto Aeries together. View week’s entries. Adjust homework and study time involvement as needed. Organize backpack and binder. Restock.

  10. Home Support Monitor Absent Work: Have your child log into the blog prior to return if possible. Complete the planner and print off homework. Check Aeries to follow up with your child’s work submission.
