Founded in 1983, we serve the Kingston community with five locations and 70 staff members, offering 16 unique programs. Our vision is to create a vibrant community where everyone can reach their full potential. Our mission is to build community through innovative employment services, focusing on respect, accessibility, trust, and accountability. Our impact in 2016-2017 includes engaging employers, investing in people, developing an inclusive workplace, and offering school-based programs and services. KEYS COMMUNITY IMPACT 2016-2017 Engaging Employers • $1.3 million received by employers to support hiring & training new employees • $736,000 received by businesses to train current employees • 1050 employers used our services to meet their recruitment needs Experiential Learning / Apprentissagefondé sur l’expérience • 522 supported on-the-job training opportunities • 65 paid internship opportunities for youth EXCELLENCE LEADERSHIP

KEYS COMMUNITY IMPACT 2016-2017 Investing in People • 133 mentoring matches • 2581 mentoring hours • 124 government-assisted refugees resettled Closing the Gap in Skills and Competencies • 634 people completed workplace training and certification • 2922 hours of English language instruction delivered to immigrant clients INNOVATION

  5. KEYS COMMUNITY IMPACT 2016-2017 Developing an Inclusive Workplace • 710 persons with disabilities participated in employment programs • 1146 youth participated in employment programs • 40 immigrant professionals and refugee women engaged in mentoring programs RESPECT ACCOUNTABILITY

KEYS School Based Programs & Services • Experience Ontario • The InSight Youth Mentorship Partnership – One on One Mentoring + Group Mentoring Events • InSight Mentoring Program has an Advisory Working Group, which has members from both school boards • Supervised Alterative Learning (SAL) Committee LDSB • First Job Program (Youth Job Link) • March Break Boot Camp • Take Your Child to Work Day Alternative • Youth Job Connect Summer • Topical Tuesday Workshops (for high school students) • EO-Employment Services offers itinerant services at community learning centres, including workshops DIVERSITY POTENTIAL
