Lead Design Engineer • Project Managers • Qualification : BE / B.Tech or ME / M.Tech in Mechanical or Aerospace from a reputed institute • Experience : 15+ years of experience in aerospace structural domain, handling design or CAE projects in aerospace structures. Good understanding of aerospace materials, fastening methods, manufacturing methods and assembly process is desired. At least 3 to 5 years of project management skills handling international clients. • Skills: • Project management • CatiaV5 R19 or CAE – Nastran, Patran • Familiarity with aerospace design requirements • Familiarity with AS 9100C quality process • MS Office Skills • Excellent communication skills and customer interaction skills.Good Verbal and written English skills, customer interaction skills is essential. Ability to manage the team • Roles and responsibilities : • To manage the team of designers, CAD modelers and CAE analysts on deliverables, timelines and performance review • Responsible for the delivery of the team and quality of deliverables • P&L Management, support to business development • Interaction with manufacturing agencies / experts to evaluate options • Interaction with the customers on timeline, inputs. • Cost estimation and production of technical proposals and similar documents • This position may require travel to customer location on a short / long term assignments. • Location : Bangalore

Very good knowledge of finite element methods, design calculations (conventional strength of material approach) and hands on experience in NASTRAN / PATRAN. Comprehensive appreciation of airframe structural principles and theory. Fatigue & DT Engineer • Fatigue & DT Engineer • Qualification : ME / M.Tech in Mechanical or Aerospace from a reputed institute • Experience : 13-17 years of experience in fatigue and damage tolerance analysis of metallic airframe structure using the standard fatigue, crack growth and residual strength calculations to assess design solutions using standard hand calculations and computer analysis methods to develop design solutions. Also an understanding of the fundamental method of analysis for fatigue and crack growth and an ability to develop these methods would be expected.
