  2. Vision Accelerating the academic achievement of all students, in partnership with the entire community, to ensure that the students have the attitudes, skills, and proficiencies needed to succeed in college and the 21St century global workforce.

  3. Mission To accelerate student progress through effective implementation of the Master Plan, focusing on quality instruction, managing systems efficiently, and sustaining a culture of excellence.

  4. As a volunteer you agree to :

  5. Be dependable and arrive on time

  6. Notify the designated school staff with reasonable notice about absences, tardiness and any other problem that may prevent you from fulfilling your obligation

  7. Sign in and out each time you visit the school

  8. Not taking disciplinary action against students

  9. Respect the privacy of all students, staff and volunteers by keeping all information received confidential ( including but not limited to test results and home / family matters)

  10. Never be under the influence of or in possession of alcohol or drugs while serving

  11. Never carry weapons while serving

  12. Be respectful of all students learning abilities

  13. Not use inappropriate language while volunteering

  14. Never transport children without permission

  15. Try to avoid using electronic devices (cell phone) while working with students

  16. Not engage in religious or political activity while volunteering

  17. Never give medication to children

  18. Not photograph students without permission from the principal

  19. Report unsafe conditions and notify appropriate school personnel of and suspected child and / or neglect

  20. Communicate any concerns or questions to the teacher, principal or volunteer coordinator
