In the market since 2000 Optifood Group of Companies is a multi-profile commercial structure developing three principal avenues of activities – trade, production and services (logistics, construction, IT, etc.), strongly positioned both in Russia and abroad. . Optifood is prominent as the leading operator of the Russian frozen poultry meat market (15% of total sales). Optifood is also one of the largest operators of other frozen meat and fruitmarkets in Russia. Optifood is rapidly expanding its capacity for own production and processing of broiler poultry meat. More than 67 million US dollars have been invested by the company in Rostov Region with the purpose to increase its total volume up to 100 000 tons per year. Our activities in fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables also are developing. Optifood makes regular deliveries of foodstuffs for the Central, North-East, South, Privolzhsky, Ural, and more distant Federal Districts of Russia. Realization of a large-scale investment project of providing logistics services both to Optifood and its clients, based on “A” Class distribution and warehouse terminals in Saint Petersburg, Moscow, and Rostov-on-Don, with the total volume of 25 000 pallets, has been started. Since 2004 Optifood Group of Companies is present in prestige ratings of the largest private companies of the Russian Federation published by Forbes, Finance, Expert magazines.   7. Social Activity Membership in Professional Organizations Russian Poultry Meat Market Operators Association - since 2003. Optifood was one of the founders of this organization, which is a union of companies with the total share of more than 85% of import frozen poultry meat sales. Optifood` share in total deliveries of such products by the companies – members of the Association is 15%. Russian Poultry Union (Rosptitsesoyuz) since 2002. USA Poultry and Eggs ExportCouncil (USAPEEC). This noncommercial organization unites US and other poultry meat and eggs exporters. Membership in USAPEEC allows Optifood to acquire progressive technologies of poultry operation, to get knowledge of innovations in specialized equipment for modern poultry production and processing, new methods of storage of finished products.   8. Business and Authorities Cooperation with Federal and Local Authorities Optifood Group of Companies works in close cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. Company’s representatives are members of the Expert Council at the Ministry on matters of the Russian Agro-Industrial Complex development, they participate in the process of development of draft normative acts regulating agricultural producers` activities. Optifood is a supplier of foodstuffs to Moscow Government in accordance with the general agreement signed in 2004. Optifood has established cooperation ties with the Administration of Rostov Region and Stavropol Territory, Local Administrations of Belokalitvinskiy, Kamenskiy, and Semikarakorskiy Regions. Developing our own production facilities in the South region of Russia, Optifood assists in creation of new jobs, increase of life standards of the local population. Careful Attention to Quality • Optifood offers to its consumers only ecologically clean and safe products. • Foodstuffs from our own production facilities • Poultry meat produced by Optifood is of best quality and comply with the highest European quality standards. • Chicken food rations include 60% of grain and corn. • Stimulators, antibiotics, and genetically modified products are excluded. • Thanks to the air\water dispersing cooling technology used for slaughtering (which is still pretty rare in Russia for the time being) the consumers do not to pay for extra ice, always formed when traditional method of cooling in chilling vats is used. Besides, in this case bacterial contamination of broiler carcasses common to water cooling systems is absent. • Annual independent audit confirms compliance to European requirements. • All products are subject to careful veterinary control. • Strict quality standards are observed at all stages of production, storage, and transportation. Tested: No Bird Flue • Compliance with sanitary and veterinary control requirements of the legislation in force of the Russian Federation, is the main element of the production process: • poultry factories operate as restricted-entry entities, • hatching units and chicken breeding houses at poultry factories are divided by sanitary zones, • poultry houses of factories are completed with even-aged chickens, • broiler chicken livestock is under permanent veterinary control of our own zoo-veterinary laboratories of poultry factories, • poultry factories’ employees are not permitted to breed the poultry at their personal backyards, • all poultry factories’ employees are recommended to refrain from travels to regions where attacks of bird flue are registered. Tested: No Bird Flue • The program of additional measures aimed at bird flue prevention is developed at Optifood poultry factories: • sanitary inspection rooms are functioning, • changeable working clothes and footwear are used, • regular four-level disinfection of all production and utility facilities, washing and disinfection of motor transport and access roads are made, • wild bird-scaring equipment is installed, • control of sanitary status of water is exercised, • control of poultry factory’s veterinary service over preparation and coordination of contracts for purchasing raw materials, feeds, equipment, and materials is tightened, • permanent monitoring of personnel health status is organized, • poultry factory’s employees have been vaccinated against flue.   24. Modern Packaging The consumers value not only the high quality of Optifood products, but also bright and original packaging with a distinct corporate logo. When elaborating package design company’s specialists arrived at optimal solution: dazzling-white hen with a bright red crest of a cock easily attracts buyers’ attention. Broiler carcasses are packed in polyethylene bags, and semi-processed meat products are packed in plastic film-coated support plates. Logistics • Optifood renders full range of services for processing and transportation of export and import cargoes, including perishable goods (meat, fish, fruits) : • assistance for customs clearance of container cargoes and shipload consignments in ports of Saint Petersburg; • assistance for obtaining of veterinary and other trade accompanying documents; • handling operations at sea, railway, and motor transport; • assistance for customs clearance of cargoes at excise customs; • providing services for storage of cargoes at our own facilities in Saint Petersburg, Moscow, and Rostov-on-Don; • providing consulting services at all levels of foreign economic activity, • insurance of cargoes in transit on the most favorable terms for the customer; • monitoring of cargo flow, armed security of cargo in transit and at warehouses, guarantee of cargo safety at all stages of transportation and storage. • The cargoes are delivered via ports Saint Petersburg and Novorossiysk, and by railway and motor transport: 200 000 tons of both own and business customers’ cargoes in 2009.   26. Logistics Realization of a large-scale project to provide integrated logistic services for Optifood and its clients has been started. The total capacity of “A” Class distribution and storage terminals constructed in Saint Petersburg, Moscow, and Rostov-on-Don will reach 25 000 pallets. The complexes to be constructed will meet strict international requirements, and will allow to maintain high quality of meat and horticultural products throughout the supply chain, including storage, processing, and delivery of products from producer to end-consumer. At the first stage of project realization the warehouse complex in Saint Petersburg providing for 100% needs of Optifood in storage and transportation of fruits, was purchased and is being modernized. At the second stage the warehouse complex in Moscow was purchased (Mosprodbaza). This complex will allow to provide turnover of the most part of the company’s frozen products, and to attract the clients. Optifood Group of Companies

Development of Integrated Logistics Infrastructure Goals for 2010-2011 • To modernize the warehouse distribution complex in Saint Petersburg, which planned turnover will be increased to 100 000 tons of cargo per year. • To establish the first distribution and food center in Moscow. • To deliver 460 000 tons of cargo (of both Optifood and business customers` cargo).   28. IT-Services Information technologies play very important role in the development of our company. We understand that effective business is impossible without adequate IT development and its systematic upgrade. IT Department was established in Optifood in 2000 – the year of the company’s birthday. Specialists of IT Department have experience in working with some of the well known IT-companies of Russia, most of them have certificates of 1C or Cisco Systems. Practical experience of IT Department specialists allow them to provide optimal IT-solutions to create telecommunication structures for external organizations as well. Services of IT Department : • complex automation of the enterprise: elaboration, introduction, and support of information systems on the basis of platform 1C: Enterprise, • elaboration of turnkey solutions for business in different industry sectors, • automation of management and accountant recording, • uniting of remote offices in unified network, • introduction and servicing of terminal solutions, • administration of existing Local area network. Snapshot on Financial Activity • Turnover of the company in 2009 - 440mln US dollars. • Company’s profit-making is ensured by: • - import products sales; • - own products sales; • - additional services (logistics). • Company’s profit is reinvested in increase of its own production. • Optifood during the whole period of its business has positive credit history, it works with state-financed credits. The following well known credit institutions provide their services for us: • Rosselkhozbank, • Sberbank of the Russian Federation, • Promsvyazbank, • CBNational Standard,etc. In 2009 Optifood as a backbone enterprise of the Russian agro-industrial complex received government guarantees and was provided with credit support to the total amount of 3,2 billion roubles.
