Enhancing Educational Resources through Webcam Integration for Science and Math

This semester, our goals are to successfully embed a webcam on our website, enabling image archiving on UC Merced servers. We aim to develop and test an end-to-end demonstration of the webcam system, including DC power, wireless camera control, and image transmission. Additionally, we will begin populating the website with educational content tailored to support California middle school science and math standards. Our project is guided by Prof. Tom Harmon, with a dedicated team working collaboratively.

  1. Our goals for this semester are to embed the webcam on the website and enable archiving of images on UC Merced servers, develop and test an end-to-end demonstration of the webcam and its supporting components (DC power, wireless camera control and image transmission), and to begin to populate the website with educational content, focusing initially on supporting California Middle school science and math standards.
