  1. What is True Leadership? Leadership is NOT about you and what you can attain for yourself personally. It’s NOT about selfish ambitions. It’s NOT about position and power over others. It’s NOT about how much money you can make. It’s NOT about the cars you drive, the house you live in, or the clothes you wear.

  2. What is True Leadership? LEADERSHIP IS ABOUT SERVING OTHERS. It is about putting the needs and concerns of others before my own need. It’s about putting aside my personal agenda for a greater agenda…like the needs of my country, or my school, or my brother or sister, or my peers in my classroom, or my teacher, or if I’m the teacher, my students. Copy this slide onto p. 55 in manual.

  3. What is True Leadership? Your solutions to the challenge – What can a 7th Grader do to make a difference in someone’s life– make you a leader IF you carry them out. Choose one idea FROM YOUR CLASSMATES and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT THIS WEEK! I want a summary of what you did by next Monday. Serve someone this week, and be prepared to share it. How did your service make you feel?
