  1. Parenting Challenges - How to Deal with Parenting Troubled Boys? Schools, friends, and family concerns can cause a lot of stress and angst in teenagers these days. They live in a pretty complicated world. Social media connectivity influence the behaviors that can become a source of potential trouble and conflict. All this has become the cause of the main concern among parents. It is vital to educate the parents and children to set things right. Thankfully, there are a lot of ways to deal with parenting troubled boys. Wondering what are these tried and tested methods? Alright! Let's learn about the challenges you might be facing and how you can cope with them. ● Anger and Violence If you suspect rage and outburst of aggression in your son than it is the matter of concern. In comparison to girls, boys often throw things, punch walls, and show more signs of violence. In such cases, to get rid of their anger, they start to bully others. It is time that parents should intervene. They need to deal with the emotions of their son, constructively. Professional advice can work to recognize the warning signs and overcome issues. Establish ground rules and consequences in case they are not adhered to. Acknowledge their feelings but tell them the harmful results of that behavior. Punishments for realization can be of great help.

  2. ● Depression It is a pervasive disorder that is found in people of any age. However, teenagers are more prone to it. It can be a result of family circumstances or study burdens. You might notice signs of isolation, sadness, or less enthusiasm. It can also cause lasting damage. Before depression takes a firm hold, it's essential seeking a doctor or a counselor. In case your child fears going to school, it's worth questioning the educators if my child is being bullied inside the premises. Be sure to give enough support while working through it. ● Anxiety Over expectations and pressures can result in anxiety. If you notice that your boy struggles with academic performances and feels agitated, you need to tackle this situation. Before the problem worsens, offer some extra help. Try to speak to him regarding the issue and provide him with tutors if required for academic support. You can also go for counseling sessions. Sometimes it's just a break that is required from the monotonous routine. Vacations can help!

  3. ● Substance Abuse Sadly, alcohol and drug abuse are becoming common in boys and girls. They look out for unhealthy ways to cope with anxiety, emotional stress, or other issues. However, the conditions only worsen. It is essential to monitor the potential dangers. Since your son is spending most of the time at school, he will either harm himself or others when losing control. Under such circumstances, take some help right away! You can ask the educators, and question them about the behavior of your son in school. If my child is bullying others? Or is he being forced? This can help diagnose the problem if that is in school. Keep your son out of the range of your medicine cabinets and be aware that you don't drink in front of them. You can also refer him to a counselor or a family member to whom he is deeply attached.
