In this interactive session on climate change and flooding, students will explore the effects of flooding in Pakistan and the UK. By the end of the session, students will be able to summarize their findings, suggest improvements for flood prevention, and analyze the economic and political factors influencing flood preparedness and recovery in both countries. Teams will research key topics such as diseases, biodiversity, flood defenses, and infrastructure to argue whether more funding should be directed towards flood prevention in the UK or Pakistan.
