Stringed art, hooks, saw teeth – whatever gadget you got on your decor needs a nail with a nice head to grip. Or better yet use these multi purpose screws from Hangman.com. They work for stringed art, saw teeth and D rings. I had no hammer. I thought of using a shoe but I was at the shore at only had flip flips. Flips flops don’t make good hammers! I did not have an ideal nail. I wanted a sturdy common nail with a head but nothing was left in the junk drawer. NO pile of useless nails or screws.
