Think Win/Win • - Find the Common Goals No one can do it all, But everyone can do something

Taking Action 6 Southwest Regional Water Reclamation Facility Advanced Wastewater Treatment and Expansion The “Cornerstone” Project Est. annual nutrient reduction - Nitrogen 27,000 lbs. - Phosphorus 14,000 lbs. Adds reclaimed supply - 220,000 gal/day Increases treatment capacity by 1 million gallons/day Promotes continued regional growth and development Achieves Multiple Bottom Lines 2018 Top Project

Leveraging Grants & Partnerships 7 Accomplishments to Date Decommissioned Four Towns WWTF & increased reclaimed supply Completed Southwest Regional WRF advanced wastewater treatment & expansion (to 2.7 MGD) Completed wastewater master planning w/ Orange City for redevelopment of CRA and new commercial growth Assisted in water quality infrastructure grant program for business in rural areas Water quality grants and partnerships : $7.65 million • In the Works • Commence wastewater feasibility analyses for Gemini & DeLeon Springs Septic tank remediation (DEP & DeBary) • Design & construct wastewater force main extension decommission Del North WWTF (DEP Springs Protection) • Initiate wastewater feasibility study for Volusia Blue (DEP & 5 cities) • Evaluate constructed wetland/aquifer recharge facility benefiting Volusia Blue (DEP & SJRWMD) • Initiate design for expansion of Southwest Regional WRF to 5 MGD “When everyone is working together, success takes care of itself “ - Henry Ford
