
Purpose andGoal Provide training opportunities in targeted Industry Clusters primarily for adult recipients ofTemporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)as well as thoseindividuals at-risk of becoming dependent on publicassistance. The goal is to help participants receive occupational skills and industry recognized certifications leading to full-time employment which allows them to become and remain independent of publicassistance.

Grant funding Information • Target cost per trainee$2,100 • Applicant may receive up to$500,000 • Grant term is12-months • 10% allowable for administrative cost related to directtraining
Allowable Costs and SupportServices • Curriculum development, tuition and certification fees, instructorwages • Training materials and consumablesupplies • Support services to assistparticipants • (ex: bus passes, gas cards, work clothing andjob readiness training) • Leveraging other resources provided by project partners
