MCAF Newcomer Health Promotion Committee was initiated in February of 2000 to respond to severe shortage of family physicians in Fredericton and sudden influx of refuges from Kosovo.It consists of a team of healthcare professionals and settlement staff who monitor and respond to the healthcare needs of newcomers at the MCAF. www.mcaf.nb.ca
