Personas and Competitive Analysis • Personas revisited • Examples of personas and competitive analysis • Clarification about scenario and trigger or “inciting incident” • Competitive analysis: how to conduct one and three steps • Questions about Lisa’s video and/or template • Team presentations: The first steps in conducting a competitive analysis are determining how your personas would look for or learn about apps and any search terms they would use. How would your personas look for or learn about apps and which apps might they find? Which are closest to what you plan to do? • Team assignment (due June 17): The next step in conducting a competitive analysis is to select three or four apps and conduct a competitive analysis using the template. The final step is to assess what you learned in the process.

Sheis Professor of Medicine, Pediatrics, and Public Health and Community Medicine, Tufts Medical Center Floating Hospital for Children/Tufts University School of Medicine, and Director, Center for Aligning Researchers and Communities for Health Tufts Clinical and Translational Science Institute.
