Cylinder Head Modification for Valve and Manifold Optimization

This project involves welding dowel holes to adjust the cylinder head position over the bores, along with installing new dowel holes. We are removing seat rings to accommodate larger valves and executing a half-cut on the manifold for better offset alignment. This modification simplifies the porting process, ensuring optimal flow. The final assembly includes welding the manifold back together, ensuring the bolt holes and chambers are adjusted accordingly.   2. Weld in dowel holes to move head over bores

  3. Index and install new dowel hole.

  4. Remove seat rings for larger valves

  5. Port cylinder head

  6. Cut manifold in half for offset of heads

  7. Flow head and manifold

  8. With manifold cut in half, that makes porting easier.
