  2. CMS Upgrade In this presentation we will list many of the new features available in CMS. These are the most requested features from CMS users on campus, and some have been added for efficiency and ease of function We will illustrate, in the live CMS program, just what are these new features and what they can do to help users complete their CMS tasks CMS classroom instruction is available to all users. List of New Features Drag and Dropusers can now drag files and folders into other folders without using the Move/Rename tab Adding Videothe Insert/Edit Media box allows HTML source code to be edited and offers HTML, Audio, YouTube and iFrame media types The Insert/Edit Imageboxallows aspect ratio to hold when changing image sizes and the Alt-Text field can be left blank

List of New Features Configurations link is now Outputs, in both page view and configuration sets’ edit screen Updating Page ContentPage content can be updated while viewing and immediately preview changes as a draft A Major FeatureThe Submit Button along with Save Draft, Cancel, etc., are fixed to the bottom of the screen and always reachable.

List of New Features Preview and Submit Draftsfrom the View or Edit menus and select versions, add comments Desktop Drag and Dropusers can drag an image or text file and upload it into CMS from their desktop Relationships Tabnavigate to a page's relationships and view all assets that refer to that page; publish referring assets directly from the Relationships tab

List of New Features User Historyusers will note that CMS now remembers where you last were in the folders list and remembers last images, pages, etc., in dialog boxes Move Assets you can move any asset by dragging and dropping it anywhere in the folder without hovering over the Folder link Image Editor Upgradethis editor has an improved look and new features including locking the aspect ratio when cropping
