  1. Status of Far Detector Linearity Calibrations Pat Ward University of Cambridge C.P. Ward

  2. History • Original 20-point Gain Curves had too few points in linear region • Feb 06: 60-point GC used to make first set of FD linearity calibrations • July 06: start of regular 40-point GC • Second set of calibrations made from July 06 GC (in September 06) • This week: have added calibrations from Aug 06 and Sep 06 GC to offline database C.P. Ward

  3. Constants in Offline Database All have TimeEnd = 2038-01-01 C.P. Ward

  4. Stability:Jul06 – Sep 06 • 88% channels good fits both times and adcmax>12000 • Ratio of corrections at ADC=12000: mean = 1.003 sigma = 0.051 Bay 11 rack 4 tube 2; Hardware change?? C.P. Ward

  5. Have asked Howie to process remaining data – not yet done • Code in cvs: PulserCalibration/PulserGainFit PulserCalibration/macros/write_calpulserfits.C • Write-up: MINOS-doc-1886 • I will have to pass this on to Ryan now – good luck! C.P. Ward
