Enhanced [18F]FEDAC Uptake in NAFLD Livers: MCD-Fed Mice vs Controls

This study investigates the specific uptake of [18F]FEDAC in livers from mice fed a methionine-choline deficient (MCD) diet compared to control mice. Using in vitro autoradiography, liver sections were incubated with [18F]FEDAC and analyzed. To confirm the binding specificity to TSPO, some sections were co-incubated with unlabelled PK11195. Results indicate significantly enhanced uptake in MCD-fed mice. Supplementary figures provide coronal PET/CT images to aid in visualizing the findings.

The liver sections were incubated with [18F]FEDAC (0.37 MBq/L)and quantified by in vitro autoradiography. To confirm the specific binding of [18F]FEDAC to TSPO, the sequential liver sections were co-incubated with unlabelledPK11195 (10 mM) and [18F]FEDAC (0.37 MBq/L). **P <0.01
