What to expect… • AP Biology is equivalent to a college introductory Biology course for majors • 2 semester course with lab • Invest your time • Expect to spend 5-10 hours each week working on biology outside of class. • You must do the reading! • Lecture-based course • We’ll cover a VAST amount of material!

  12. Sample AP Bio test question • A human kidney filters about 200 liters of blood each day. Approximately two liters of liquid and nutrient waste are excreted as urine. The remaining fluid and dissolved substances are reabsorbed and continue to circulate throughout the body.
