  1. Ammonia borane has a hydrogen content of 19.6 wt.%. We have demonstrated the first dehydrogenation of ammonia borane using heteropolyacids, such as silicotungstic acid. This new process has significant advantages over current methods. In our novel process, the maximum amount of H2 is rapidly extracted from ammonia borane at 298 K, with minimal side products.
