Battle of Midway, Admiral Nimitz fought the Japanese. His troops were outnumbered 4 to 1 in ships and planes. Sent American planes to attack Japanese ships. American pilots destroyed 332 Japanese planes and Japanese withdrew. Turned the tide of the war in the Pacific against the Japanese.
