Welcome to the second of four to six proposed Patient Participation Group (PPG) sessions for 2012 at Great Harwood Medical Group. Building on feedback from our introductory meeting, we will establish priorities to shape the GHMG agenda, discuss ideas for upcoming patient survey questionnaires, and address your questions and concerns. GHMG Where are we now? • Priority on ‘pre-booked’ appts • 2 to 4 week pre booking limit • Guaranteed same day 5 minute urgent appointments • Over 800 appointments not attended in 2012! • > One whole month of GP time
Options for changing Access Some Doctors hard to get appointments with Do you want more same day appts? Call@ 8am? Sit and wait? Telephone Consultations? Any doctor for urgent problems MUCH quicker. Walk in centre at Accrington-any use?
