  1. Pitch • Jess, Meg, Shaunie and Shannon

  2. I hate to say I told you so -Story includes a man names jay, aged around 20. He hates his job, working as a caretaker after being kicked out of university. He also lives with his mum. -He is walking to work one day when he finds a briefcase with his name on it, and £1,000,000. He runs home without thinking of the consequences. -After wondering who did this for him he pulls the note from his pocket to see that on the back it says someone will die if he chooses to take the money. He doesn’t know who or when it will happen. -Months go by and nothing happens. He’s living a life of luxury and doesn’t even care anymore. -After moving into his big house and being busy with his money, he decides to visit his mum, to find she’s been brutally murdered with no evidence but a not saying I hate to say I told you so.

  3. This film is influenced by The Box with Cameron Diaz and James Marsden:- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFHa-ygkF_M

  4. Budget The film will require a few props such as; -a brief case -fake blood -Paper etc... Each of us will put in £5.00 bringing the budget to a total of £20.00. This will be used to fund for our props and anything else needed.

  5. Actors The character in the film is around 19/20 years old, he has dropped out of university and is living with his mother. So we will need an actor to fit this role. We may also require extras for the background, to add to the affect of realism. We may need an older woman to act out the role of the mother, however we could put the note over her face when ‘Jay’ finds her dead to save the trouble of finding a suitable actor. We will get the actors from the A level drama department at Harlow college.

  6. Classification and Genre (15) The film will be aimed at people over the age of 15. According to the BBFC (british board film classification) this is suitable for this age as it contains mild violence at the end of the movie. Thriller: The film will be a thriller as it involves the audience feeling tense and uneasy.

  7. Location; There is an open public field which would be ideal for filming as it could have an eerie effect for the film because it is surrounded by woods. It is also a realistic location for when the character finds the money as it isn’t overly busy. We wouldn’t need permission to film there as it is a public area, and there are no distressing scenes that would need to be filmed there that could disrupt others.

  8. The List -The film is based on a teenage girl (Eliza Front) who is told by her doctors that she has a terminal illness. - She is then told that she only has a limited amount of time left to live. - Eliza then decides to make a list, a list containing all the things she wants to do before she dies. - She then attempts to complete them all within the time she has left.

  9. This film is influenced by the film the bucket list, it’s similar because the main character is dying and is trying to live his life to the full before with the disease. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PX8XEXmhHss

  10. Budget The film will require a few props such as; -Paper -Costumes -Furniture etc... A big budget isn’t always necessary. Superbad had a budget of $20,000,000, yet it made $33,052,411 in just is its opening weekend. ..And so for the film we will only need a small contribution from each person to get enough money for our props etc. We can save money by using things we already have.

  11. Location The location of this film will be set in a homely area, that you could imagine yourself being in. As she is only a teenager. We will also need a room that we can furnish to look like a doctors room; such as a desk. A class room would be suitable for this.

  12. Genre and Classification The genre of this film is a drama The film will be classified at an age 15 because it shows scenes that are not suitable for people below that age.

  13. Keep your enemies closer - The idea is that a group of friends that go in to the woods to sleep over. - They start to argue and split up in to two groups. -The two groups start to notice that people are going missing, one by one. - They find out at the end that the Two people who argued at the start, causing the groups to break off in to Two planed it all along.

  14. The film is influenced by movies such as the blair witch project. Other movies such as paranormal activity have influenced this idea as it will be filmed in POV meaning that it will filmed by the actors and not by the directors and camera men. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90r3CnPI0AM

  15. Props and Location This film will not need much of a budget as the resources that we need we already have. We will just need; -Tents -Sleeping bags -Camcorders -Any other props that will add to the realism of the setting The film will be filmed in a forrest. We need to make sure that it is not too dark when filming as we will need to be able to see. However we need it to be slightly dark to make the right atmosphere.

  16. Genre and Classification This film will be classed as a horror and the classification should be a 15. This is because when making a film like this you have to make sure that no one is affected and you have to stick to the BBFC guidelines.
