4.22.14 Bell Ringer

This lesson focuses on the role of cultural and personal expression in society, particularly through art, song, poetry, dance, and music. Students will explore whether these forms of expression can change perspectives, backed by historical examples from the Great Depression and World War II. The agenda includes small group discussions, chart analysis, and examining the influence of propaganda on American society during WWII. Students will also engage in activities to find or create contemporary examples of propaganda.
