  1. Changing paper notices Into email notices

  2. How much paper we’re using • Once a fortnight we send out 280 newsletters so we are using 280 sheets of paper. • This week we sent out 266 notices and 88 other sheets of paper. • Every week we use around about 140 to 200 additional sheets of paper.

  3. A medium sized tree provides 1000 to 2000 sheets of paper. The whole senior syndicate hands out to their class every term 1032 sheets of paper.

  4. Why emailing is easier • Emailing notices is easier because you can send more than one notice at a time. • When you email notices you save money because it costs very little to email compared to print.

  5. How many times do the paper bins go out each week? • The paper bins can hold up to 110 litres. • 8 paper bins go out each week. • 32 paper bins go out in a month. • That is 3,520 litres every month!

  6. The reason I am doing this is because… • It is easier for the parents • It cost less money • It is faster • You can send other notices at the same time • You can reply to the notices!
