OBJECTIVES • To reinforce dialogue and active cooperation between local actors in the three countries • To apply good governance principles in the planning of sustainable urban development • Develop permanent tools for the partners in Jordan and Lebanon for developing urban renewal interventions designed to stimulate the economy

  5. RESULTS • A sustainable operational structure capable of leading the planned actions • Identifi cation of urban renewal pilot projects for each beneficiary area • Technical implementation plans and feasibility studies for each pilot project • Local contracts to consolidate the capacities of partners responsible for project implementation • Assessment of the project’s actions and eff ective agreements to assure their sustainability

  6. MAIN ACTIVITIES • Develop an operational project structure for the formulation and leading of pilot projects • Identify pilot project and build capacity to undertake their design and implementation • Launch steps for project implementation and durability

  7. TARGET GROUPS • Elected representatives and local authorities • Acting experts, technicians and staff of the partner municipalities VALUE EUR 680,077

  8. FINAL BENEFICIARIES • The populations of the urban areas impacted by the project activities
