The Program Viability Review (PVR) process aims to identify at-risk programs quickly, allowing timely actions to maintain essential programs and terminate non-essential ones. It helps ensure efficient use of limited resources in alignment with the university's mission, vision, and priorities. The PVR process is data-driven, considers programs' strategic value, involves faculty and program administrators, enables responsible decision-making, and operates transparently within university governance structures and policies.
