  7. Foods for baby to pick up8-10 months 7 • toasted bread • pieces of tortilla • cooked ground meat, chopped chicken or fish • soft, skinless fruits • soft, cooked vegetables • mild cheese like medium cheddar

  8. Also… 8 • Let baby feed self! • Give assistance by spoon feeding • Do not add salt, sugar, butter or spices to baby’s food. • Give new foods • More solid food=less breastmilk or formula
