  1. FREEDOM!

  2. FREEDOM! January 30, 2016 Hope in the city, Austin, tx

  3. What is Deliverance? • The specific concept of freedom contained in “aphesis”, the word used in Luke 4:18, where Jesus outlined the expressions inherent in Messiah’s anointed ministry, including “deliverance to the captives.” • Deliverance is the opportunity to assist the Beloved in stripping off all the things that cover the beautiful scroll written for them in heaven. • To see hindrances drop to the ground. • To see curses broken, lies exposed. • To see strongholds demolished, to see demons flee. • To see a person come out of a pit and walk into the light. • To see someone hear the voice of the Lord - perhaps for the first time – saying that they are precious.

  4. What is Deliverance?, cont. • Deliverance is a table set for the Beloved where there is no judgment or condemnation. • It is a place where one can confess and repent without fear or shame. • It is a place where one can forgive as she never has before. And that could include herself! • It is a place of JOY restored, shalom encountered, • Deliverance is letting the Blood of the Redeemer move through your blood and spirit and allow His Spirit cleanse you. • What happened that led His people to ignore both healing and deliverance?

  5. Western Worldview • Two functional realms - the natural and the supernatural • The natural realm is "this world", run by natural (scientific) laws and seldom affected by spirit beings. • The supernatural realm is essentially "other-worldly" and contains all spirit beings - both good and evil. • It is assumed that science and religion can be kept separate, as in public education.

  6. What is the Truth? • That nothing has changed. • That demons and angels exist. • That believers can be oppressed by demons. • What do we need to operate as a deliverer - one who brings deliverance to the captives.

  7. Jesus’ Instruction and Promise • Jesus’ Instruction: Teach others to obey everything He had commanded them. Matthew 28:20 - “ . . .teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be). • Jesus’ Promise: That anyone who believes will do the same works He has done. John 14:12 “I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father.”

  8. What Jesus Said About Power and Authority • Mathew 28:18 – “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.” • Luke 10:19 – “I have given you (the disciples) authority so that you can - overcome all the power of the enemy.” • Luke 9:1-2 – He defined authority as the "power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases.” • That is Jesus’ worldview!

  9. Demons and Strongholds Love Garbage - Just Like Rats! • What's the garbage? • Iniquity - Generational curses • Curses • Idolatry • Sins • Unforgiveness • Soul Ties • Trauma • Our goal – to eliminate every legal right a demon has to hang around.

  10. Is Deliverance a Pathway to Joy? • Is deliverance connected with physical, emotional and spiritual healing? YES               YESYES • Do we use tools to see this happen at the table? YES:      Immanuel         Regions of Captivity         Sozo • Do we deal with fractured personalities? YES • What an opportunity for FREEDOM, WHOLENESS, JOY AND SHALOM! • IT IS ISAIAH 61!   Right down to JOY Forever!

  11. Shalom • You will do it for the JOY set before you! • Strong's Concordance: 7965: Shalom means completeness, wholeness, health, peace, welfare, safety, soundness, tranquility, prosperity, perfectness, fullness, rest, harmony, the absence of agitation or discord. Root verb, shalom, meaning to be complete, perfect and full. In modern Hebrew, the related word Shelemn means to pay for, and Shulam means to be fully paid. • Yeshua is called “Sar Shalom” - Prince of Peace - which perfectly describes the ministry and personality of our Messiah (Isaiah 9:6).

  12. Are you a good Christian??? God is NOT trying to make us good. He’s wanting us to be FREE!!!!!! • This isn’t so much an issue of heaven and hell but living slave-driver free today! (Exodus 19 – 20) • God is proposing a marriage relationship with a group of people. He’s not giving 10 rules to establish relationship. The relationship is already established. (Exodus 19:6) • He’s putting boundaries around for the best kind of life.

  13. If we are going to be married… In essence God is saying, “If we are going to be married, I AM going to have the best looking bride in town! We are going to create a life that everyone is going to look at us and say, “I wish we had that!” ARE WE THERE???????? WHY NOT???????

  14. INIQUITY • Where is it? • What is it? • Why is it such a big deal to God? • Sin, Transgressions, Iniquity – isn’t it the same? • Isn’t it covered under the blood? • Wasn’t it paid at the cross?

  15. Sin: It’s a verb! • An offense [i.e. a single event], slipping away, missing the mark • In Hebrew “sin” is ANYTHING that comes short of the glory of God! • The English word for “sin” comes from archery.. The archer would shoot at the target. If he missed the mark, the overseeing official would yell “SIN!” • Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

  16. Transgression: It’s also a verb! • A revolt (national, moral or religious); rebellion • Hebrew meaning is a willful deviation from, and therefore rebellion against, the path of godly living. • Repeated sin becomes outright rebellion • Transgression is more powerful and it is a step to more permanent bondage. • Transgression is connected to trespass, which is a willful violation of the law. • 1 Samuel 15:23 – For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as idolatry….because you have rejected the word of the Lord.

  17. Iniquity:an underlying attitude, a bent condition of who we are? • Perversity, evil, twisted, distorted • Hebrew meaning is perverseness, bowed down, twisted to be bent or crooked, to be wrung out of course. • Injustice, unrighteousness, wickedness • Sin when repeated against the knowledge of God becomes transgression which, if it continues, eventually becomes iniquity which perverts the flesh. This perversion changes the DNA/RNA structure of the “flesh” and “beliefs” or “attitudes” resulting in genetic changes that are passed down from generation to generation.

  18. Iniquity: the attitude, the heart • Iniquitors hate God (Exodus 20:5) and God hates the workers of iniquity! (Psalms 5:5) and anything to do with covetousness and idolatry. (Deut. 16:22) • Sin and transgression deal primarily with tangible violations, iniquity on the other hand leans toward the intangible. • Attitude is an intangible spiritual entity that is hard to define or impossible to regulate (through ordinances, statutes or laws). Note: There was no offering for iniquity under biblical law. (Ezekiel 42:13; Isaiah 3:14) • Iniquity is in relation to man’s heart and has a distinct relationship to man’s spirit. Psalms 32:2 • Shows up over 300 times in scripture. Approximately 70% is applied to a collective body of people such as a group, congregation, city or nation.

  19. Iniquity, cont. • Iniquity is the sum total of all twisted thoughts of mankind. • It impregnates human beings at conception and a spiritual inheritance of evil is established. • It is a spiritual umbilical cord which transmits DNA of evil from one generation to another.

  20. Iniquity, cont. According to Ana Mendez-Ferrell: • Iniquity is tied to the spiritual world of darkness. • It is there that the devil binds us with curses from our ancestors. • Iniquity is the legal basis of sickness from one generation to the next. • It is here that satan’s legal right is granted to steal, kill and destroy.

  21. Iniquity, cont. Ana Mendez-Ferrell, cont.: • Iniquity permeates man’s heart. • It is a force compelling good people to commit sin. • Iniquity opposes divine justice. • It fills us with unbelief, causes sickness, addictions, greed, worshipping other idols. • It is a spiritual DNA, which stores information from one generation to the next.

  22. Ezekiel 28:15-16 You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you. By the abundance of your tradingyou became filled with violence within, and you sinned; Therefore I cast you as a profane thing out of the mountain of God; And I destroyed you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the fiery stones.

  23. Ezekiel 28: 17-18Ezekiel 28:17-18 Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, that they might gaze at you. You defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities, by the iniquity of your trading; Therefore I brought fire from your midst; It devoured you, and I turned you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all who saw you.

  24. Ezekiel 28:15, 17-18 Lucifer was cast out of heaven because iniquity was found in him through a twisted thought – a ROOT.

  25. The Tree of Iniquity • It is the ROOT for the diabolic SEED of evil from which all wickedness originates • Sin is the FRUIT ROOT SEED SIN

  26. Exodus 20:1-4 Then GOD spoke all these words: “I am the Lord your God, Who has brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before or besides Me. You shall not make yourself any graven image…”

  27. Exodus 20:5-6 You shall not bow down yourself to them or serve them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me.

  28. Our Inheritance in Christ Our redeemed inheritance is founded in the Spirit of Christ to destroy iniquities.

  29. Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole. (AMP)

  30. Isaiah 53:10 Yet it was the will of the Lord to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief and made Him sick. When You and He make His life an offering for sin [and He has risen from the dead, in time to come], He shall see His [spiritual] offspring, He shall prolong His days, and the will and pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand.

  31. The Sacrifice – Jesus! Sin – Soul Transgression – Body Iniquity – Spirit • The Sacrifice of Jesus was complete - totally dealing with our sins, iniquities and transgressions. All three had to be accounted for, to win our salvation. (Col. 2:9)

  32. Deliverance Technique • Find and shut down open doors of iniquity • Repent for sins of generations • Declare, “It Ends Here!”

  33. Occult/Pagan Religious Practices • Freemasonry • Witchcraft • Worship of other gods • Sacrifices

  34. Freemasonry • What is it? • How does it affect us? • How could it affect my children? • Do I have it in my background? • How do I know? • What do I do about it?

  35. Freemasonry, cont. • When you look at the symbolism of each level of Freemasonry, you see a well-thought-out and thorough system designed to capture the spirit, soul and body of a person, as well as to gain control of their identity, destiny and value.

  36. Freemasonry, cont. • Each step of the ceremony requires the person to relinquish part of who they are to Freemasonry. • Repenting and renouncing does not restore what was lost in the ceremony. • Reclaiming what was relinquished allows a person to submit to God and resist the devil more effectively.

  37. Effects of Freemasonry on Identity, Worth and Destiny 1. Removal Of Clothing • Clothing is linked to identity. The person is stripped of their identity and given a new identity - pajamas. • Not for going out - passive, sleep • Later, they are given garments which identify them as Masons.

  38. Effects of Freemasonry, cont. 2. Removal Of All Valuables – money, keys, rings and other jewelry These have to do with a person’s value, both personal and material. Their God-given intrinsic worth and value as a person is lost. Their personal value now comes from how valuable they are to Freemasonry.

  39. Effects of Freemasonry, cont. 3. Slipshod Slipper & Checkerboard The right foot has a slipper put on it, designed to make their walk slippery. Their path is not clear, but a mixture of darkness and light. Their ability to find the path for their life and fulfill their destiny becomes uncertain.

  40. Effects of Freemasonry on the Soul 4. Hoodwink Head is covered, intellect - mind is surrendered to Freemasonry 5. Cable Tow Person is bound and led by someone else - free will is surrendered to Freemasonry

  41. Effects on the Soul, cont. 6. Dagger To Left Breast Heart, the seat of emotion, is exposed and submitted to Freemasonry. All elements of the soul, mind, emotion and will are surrendered to Freemasonry.

  42. Effects of Freemasonry on the Body 7. Vows, Oaths and Curses Spoken Against The Body All internal organs, endocrine and immune systems, the reproductive system, the eyes, brain, ears, tongue and all extremities.

  43. Effects of Freemasonry on the Spirit 8. Seeking The Light Of Freemasonry This statement submits the spirit of the person to the deception of Freemasonry. Spiritual discernment is lost. A spirit that opposes the Holy Spirit is given preeminence. The person is captured in false worship and is deceived into believing that it is worship of the true God.

  44. Effects on the Spirit, cont. The stated purpose of the first degree is to conceal the “higher truths” from initiates. Not until they have gone further are they introduced to the worship of Greek, Hindu, Norse and Egyptian gods. By committing their spirit to the light of Freemasonry, they have committed to all of this.

  45. Effects of Freemasonry on Health • If you worship the gods of Egypt, you will get the diseases of Egypt. Egypt had every kind of disease known. One of the reasons they were so advanced in medicine was that they had so many diseases.

  46. Effects on Health, cont. • In Freemasonry, you are involved in direct worship of the gods of Egypt, so in addition to all the things you pronounce on yourself, you also get what God has pronounced on you - all the diseases of Egypt.
