  5. Implementation Steps • 1. Created Advising Committee consisting of employees from various WD&CE department units and campuses. • 2. Developed Implementation Plan. • 3. Created Survey to collect employees’ input on information they are interested to learn and skills they are willing to share. Survey Link: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/YTF337X • 4. Database Sample was developed.

Survey Results •  Participation:        64 individuals participated in the WD& Survey        35 individuals volunteered to serve as mentors to new employees         Method of knowledge sharing:          50 employees are willing to provide one-one-one coaching           46 employees are willing to participate in small workshops or panel discussions 2.      Topics of High Interest:             Marketing Strategies & Growing Programs          Community Outreach          Social Media and New Technology Tools to Grow Programs          Discovering Professional Strengths and Understanding Yourself          Relaxations Strategies         E-mail Etiquette         Assisting Customers with Disabilities          MS Office Features and Photo Editing

  7. Next Steps 1. Plan Small Group Discussions and Presentations. 2. Develop Procedures for Coaching- Mentoring within the WD&CE. 3. Provide Training for Mentors. 4. Develop SharePoint Site with Database of Mentors and Coaches in Different Disciplines.
