Tennis camp We were 5 volunteer tennis coaches The tennis camp was at Aarhus 1900 tennis in Denmark We made this tennis camp to give poor children a chance to learn how to play tennis. The tennis camp lasted for 4 days, 4 hours a day It was a great success
Tennis camp • We found sponsors that provided free food and drinks for the kids every day. • We also had sponsors to provide racquets and a t-shirt for the children. • I didn’t think that so many would support this project—it was a positive surprise.
Tennis camp • We had more than 50 children participating in the tennis camp. • Every day we had new stuff to learn the children. Monday they learned how to hit a forehand. Tuesday we had back hand theme. Wednesday serve was in focus. Thursday was the last day, so there we played tournaments.
Tennis camp It was amazing to see how happy the children were when they played tennis. It was hard work, but at the end of the day it was worth it.
Tennis camp • This tennis camp was a great success and because of that it wasn’t the last time I work as a volunteer tennis coach • Furthermore this tennis camp has started other camps like this, but in other sports. • It is fantastic!
