Driving Procedure Document Number: KOC.SA.016 • Purpose / Scope: • The document is intended to outline a common approach for preventing motor vehicle accidents and improve safety performance by reducing risk & potential harm to the drivers as well as to fellow road users. • This procedure applies to all employees of KOC and employees of the contractors who are required to drive as a part of their assignment and Contractors as appropriate. • The following are the key deliverables indicated out of this procedure for the purpose • of induction only, enabling contractor to estimate basic resource requirements (it does • not mean that the other deliverables are not applicable): • All drivers shall attend defensive driving training courses • Drivers, Operators shall possess appropriate valid license • Maintain driving- journey log book • Maintain Service log book • Obey speed limit, failing which drivers will be subject to monitor by mobile camera and will be penalized as well as other disciplinary action will be taken • Cell phone shall not be used while driving • KOC Safe Driving Policy
