Sole Proprietorship • I chose a sole proprietorship so that I could be the only owner • In a sole proprietorship the owner is completely in control of the business and hold the power to make all of the decisions that pertain to the business. • Disadvantage: the owner of the business will be held responsible for the debts and obligations of the business • Disadvantage: investors don’t usually invest in a sole proprietorship

  3. Location • 1050 Ridge Road • Webster, NY 14580 • (Webster Plaza) • I chose this location because its located in a busy plaza where many people shop everyday.

  7. Employees • 6 employees at all times • Pay: $11/hour (I will pay them more than minimum wage because they are trained baristas) • Must be trained baristas so that they can make all of the different drinks • Minimum of a high school education • Receive an employee discount of 20%
