  3. CCSDS Secretariat Support Change • Secretariat support task transferred to BTAS Inc. • Problems with H/W, S/W and processes caused minor disruption in service. • All but one resolved (voting). This will be resolved no later than 5/28/2004 • Replacement for the old server hardware and software authorized

CCSDS Secretariat Support Change, Cont. • Work on new CCSDS web site started. • Server H/W and S/W in place • Requirement gathering process started • Call for functionality and suggestions for improvement will go out to the CCSDS community shortly • Current plan calls for testing and parallel operation periods • Goal is to deploy around the 2004 Fall CMC meeting date

  5. CCSDS Secretariat Support Change, Cont. • CCSDS Outreach function • Interest generated in US and European medias • Support from CCSDS technical members needed to further “carry the word” about CCSDS usefulness to space community

Items of General Interest to the MC • OMG MOU • Agreement with OMG reached and ratified by the CMC • Recent developments show that OMG side did not fully informed its membership of the agreement and therefore some recent OMG actions did not abide by it. • Action taken to resolve • Siegel and direct talks with SDTF chair and co-chair

Items of General Interest to the MC • Status of the proposal to form a new TC • First draft reviewed by Bergamini, Dowen, Hooke and Kelley • Initial comments delivered to Craig Day and Gael Squibb. • Additional comments to be delivered next week • Upon receiving an updated copy from Mr. Day it will be distributed for comments to CCSDS MC/SC13 membership

April 1995.This document presents an overview of the history, functions, achievements, and products of the CCSDS. It includes an annotated listing of panel products and a summary of applications of CCSDS Recommendations by standards organizations and projects. In need of updating. CMC needs to identify resources/candidates to work on this. Most of material for this exists, but needs to be reviewed.

November 2003.The CCSDS Procedures Manual specifies the procedures to be followed by CCSDS participants in carrying out the business of the CCSDS. The current revision reflects organizational and procedural changes brought about by adoption of Proposal for Restructuring the CCSDS Organization and processes, CCSDS A02.1-Y-1, April 2003. In need of updating. Secretariat will take this on. However, CESG needs to identify candidates to help Secretariat personnel with this work.

July 1997.This Report consolidates glossaries provided by the active technical panels of the CCSDS. In need of updating. Secretariat will take this on. However, CESG needs to identify candidates to help Secretariat personnel with this work.

This Report defines the highest-level CCSDS identifiers available to distinguish among types of CCSDS-defined objects and services at the CCSDS level, and it describes how to construct unique identifiers in the larger context of International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Telegraph and Telephone Consultative Committee (CCITT) identifiers In need of updating. Secretariat (Mr. Forester) will take this on. However, CESG needs to identify candidates to help Secretariat personnel with this work.
